It's going downhill

Pros

1. There are lot of learning opportunities if you end up in a good team. 2. Health benefits are decent 3. Ample leaves 4. Has decent brand name 5. Work Life balance is decent so you hardly need to stretch

Cons

Work-from-Home Policy: Flexibility for working from home is barely a suggestion. You’re expected to show up in the office three days a week. Work Culture Shift: The work culture used to be solid, but after the leadership shake-up, the company feels less like an AMC and more like a BPO. Learning & Development: Don’t expect a Learning & Development team to help you grow. HR and Tech Support: HR and tech teams are either stretched thin or just not that interested. Send them a query, and you might get a reply—eventually. Cost-Cutting Measures: The pay is so far below the market standards, you might wonder if they’re compensating you for a job or a hobby. Also don’t be surprised if they start asking you to bring your own coffee for the office machine. Office Conditions: The office is falling apart, with nonfunctional ACs in the elevator lobby and elevators that work when they feel like it. The washrooms are in such poor shape, they make government building facilities look almost appealing.

Teams not well managed

Pros

Overall company culture offered opportunities to connect with peers and meet other employees

Cons

Our team was overextended and didn't have a dedicated project manager No raise or bonus last year and during times of financial turbulence, company language always implied that employees have to eat the effects of the market Management did not set team members up for success or career progression Instead of hiring more team members, often had to share role responsibilities that extended past our immediate job descriptions

Pros

Flexible schedule and unlimited PTO

Cons

Pay raises have become minimal as the company seems to be struggling with revenue and profits. I received a dry promotion and my pay is in the bottom quartile for my position. Almost the entirety of my team of 20 consists of offshore contractors.
