Pros

The people were nice.

Cons

Financial acumen of internal sales managers was slim to none. Most had just been at the company for a long time in ops and had no sales experience. They didn't seem to actively try and learn the products the desk was supposed to sell and more concerned about call metrics than productive sales calls.

Pros

Good brand name, a lot of visibility

Cons

Senior management has no clue what they are trying to achieve, margins are so low because expenses are ridiculous, they feel like they can buy business by spending money on customers in a nice office etc. This is not 1980s anymore, clients are looking for substance which most of the people on the investments side do not have. Those who do leave quickly as they get frustrated.
