Not bad

Pros

Pay, benefits and remote flexibility are good.

Cons

There are cliques in the company that feel like the "cool kids". I've seen a few occurrences of sr level people talking down to newer developers.

Solid culture, messy direction

Pros

Been on a couple teams and worked with more and I can comfortably say the culture is good here. Pay is solid. Hours are pretty flexible with the work being remote.

Cons

Direction of the company is sometimes messy with team members being shifted between teams a lot. Code base is pretty messy in some ways with all the mismatching patterns. A proprietary Framework was used for a time that just creates residual headaches now.

Pros

Invoca provided me with meaningful opportunities to lead strategic initiatives and deliver high-impact technical solutions alongside talented colleagues. During my tenure, I gained valuable experience collaborating across teams and influencing large-scale programs that directly contributed to business growth. Earlier on, the culture was mission-driven and collaborative, fostering innovation and a strong sense of shared purpose.

Cons

Over time, I observed a growing disconnect between Invoca’s stated values and the strategic decisions being made at the leadership level. While the company promotes principles like continuous improvement, customer-centricity, and team collaboration, in practice, these often took a back seat to short-term sales priorities. This sales-first mindset frequently hindered product quality, strained cross-functional collaboration, and limited the company’s ability to deliver long-term value to customers. In a SaaS environment, revenue growth is important, but sustainable success requires a balanced focus on innovation, alignment, and delivering meaningful outcomes across the entire customer journey.
