Pros

The engineering team at InvoiceCloud is truly impressive—skilled, collaborative, and capable of delivering strong technical solutions. The engineers work well together and are competent in their technical expertise.

Cons

Management consistently changes priorities and the scope of projects, creating confusion and making it hard to focus on long-term goals. There is a lack of understanding of the tech stack within management, which is problematic for a tech-driven company. Management struggles to quantify deliverables or measure performance, leading to unrealistic expectations and inefficiencies. HR fosters a negative environment, ignores employee concerns, and contributes to low morale. The workplace dynamic is disrupted by poor leadership and ineffective HR, making it hard to retain top talent and thrive within the company.

We could not agree more, we have a fantastic engineering team and are very excited to have Jed Maczuba on board as CTO. We try to create as much transparency on the product and engineering roadmap. Our goal is to ensure our teams are working on priority opportunities, maintaining platform stability and looking ahead to product enhancements. We encourage you to share feedback with your managers and leadership team if you feel that there are disconnects in metrics and deliverables. You can also leverage your HR Business Partners who are here to be a resource for the business. Our broader People team is committed to our employees and you can always email hr@invoicecloud.com if you have a broader question or concern.

Pros

Benefits are pretty solid, work is pretty easy if you can critically think. There are some solid people who are genuinely fun to work and interact with

Cons

Terrible vetting process for new hires put strain on great employees and allows terrible employees to abuse the system. Management will not listen to realistic complaints about bad processes but then we get "pizza party" type of announcements and higher ups believe everything is OK. Interview process is known to be a joke so if you are looking for work, I'd look elsewhere.

Pros

Good PTO policy, flexible hours, and benefits.

Cons

This was probably the worst job of my career. From the very beginning, there were promises from my offer letter that were completely different from what was actually presented while working. The processes are so old school, and management is not open to improvements. People expect you to get work done, but don’t have the time to help train you or answer questions. If you do have questions, you always feel like a giant burden. If you enjoy doing busy work with no end in sight, this company is for you. Everyone is so stressed and the tension is so high. People claim the culture is amazing, but I would say the decent benefits aren’t enough to make up for the culture.
