Pros

- Great people who are truly dedicated to the field - Flexible working conditions - Excellent position in a very competitive field - Many types of relationships with partners and customers - Rapidly growing company that is learning and not set in its ways - Accessible leadership that cares

Cons

- Lots to learn as an organization - Many processes are new or not well defined - Many of the business challenges at IonQ are present throughout the quantum information industry or any nascent technology company (complex IP concerns, new product definitions, export control challenges, lots of unknowns, etc)

Pros

Amazing, smart, and passionate people. Quantum computing - Coolest tech to be working on in 2021. Small and nimble. Going public in a few weeks so more investment in tech, people, sales, product is likely coming. Supportive and collaborative culture.

Cons

Some people are remote and some are on-site in College Park, UMD - we will need to focus on communication as we continue to grow. Some growing pains, for example more processes and tools are needed in some areas , but only if they help us move faster. The company is still under 100 people, so lots of growth is forthcoming and I hope we're ready.
