Typical startup chaos

Pros

Good group of hard workers: low level employees consistently work their butts off to deliver on KPIs.

Cons

A dead end, subject to the same mismanagement, toxic culture, work/life imbalance, and erratically shifting expectations that can be found at other foundering startups. Layoffs and personnel changes are frequent, and frequently unexpected. Often feels like people are expendable despite the huge amount of work they have put into making things function. Overall the environment is trending downwards here: made me wonder, after 2+ years, why I even bothered.
