      Great learning experiance

      Pros

      Great flexibility in schedule, everyone looks out for each other, a great learning experience, positive reinforcement, great way to make many connections if you just start taking classes at Ivy and you get first-hand knowledge of career hunting.

      Cons

      The schedule is limited on your financial aid status(Unsubsidized and subsidized loans taken per year can impact the work hours you are allowed).

      Pros

      The students are great, and the FT and PT faculty are dedicated. There is some flexibility in the work schedule, as long as your immediate supervisor likes you. If he/she doesn't, well...

      Cons

      Administration does not listen to those "in the trenches" and any advice or complaint falls on deaf ears. Middle management is too worried about keeping their jobs to support the faculty. We're constantly asked to do more with less. We've even been strong-armed to award grades students didn't earn in order to "retain" students, and improve our completion rates.

      Enjoy working with students, great retirement, relaxed atmosphere, friendly colleagues...

      Cons

      Organization is top-heavy. Admins make much more than doctoral faculty, Business model will not work in an educational institution.
