Pros

Tuition remission, good use to technology to help you do your jobs.

Cons

Low pay, low salary increases when they do happen, high deductible insurance, regional leadership lacking, highly political environment, nepotism, very low morale and it's not clear if regional leadership is clueless to it or it does not care.Too many people get away with saying, "It's not my job". If people aren't doing their jobs, there are few consequences. Since raises are not based on performance, those who are poor performing employees benefit the same as those who care and take pride in a job well done.

Pros

The flexible schedule and working with a supervisor who will work with your student schedule.

Cons

The irregularity of shifts, students and or professors not showing up to class, and the numerous tests that students take all resulted in shifts being cancelled.

Pros

Strong benefit program (watch out for delayed retirement plan access). They are really good at spending money on new buildings and remodeling (why did they need Italian marble for the entry way of the NMC building?)

Cons

Low pay, living in Indianapolis, incompetence and nepotism are the rule for department chairs and up. Management has lost sight of education, they are focused on administration and justifying more positions and pay for useless administrators. The faculty full-time to adjunct ratio is 30-70 and among the lowest in the country. Management bloviates about student completion ratios but seem to be clueless about the importance of faculty vs. administration. Promotions seem to be dictated by who is playing golf with Tom, or what family you were born into.
