Pros

If you’re new to the field of education and are thinking about what type of career you want to pursue, then Ivymount is a good place to learn while you figure it out. It’s a great place for young college grads to explore career options and meet people in different fields. There are some incredibly bright people working here! It’s a place to learn.

Cons

However, the pay is staggeringly low for the area, and depending on which school program you wind up in they may require you to take on a workload which exceeds the amount of paid time you have allocated in the day (you’ll be salary unless you’re only working on in-home cases). In my estimation, they rewarded likability over competence when promoting people, and they used quite a few ‘bait and switch’ techniques to convince people to work there longer-particularly if you want to accrue BCBA supervision hours-so if that’s important to you, make sure you get a clear understanding of what they will provide each and every year.
