Great Learning Experience Their training was helpful, even if you didn't work with ABA before. Staff seems to be friendly and helpful at times Great extra curricular jobs to help supplement salary

Cons

Salary high turn over rate staff could be clique at times weren't up front on what you may expect from the children/classroom

Great starting point for those interested in Special Education

Pros

I worked as a 1:1 ABA instructor in the Autism program. I received accurate, in-depth training for this job, which lead me to my current master's program. I also loved the teaming aspect of working in classrooms there.

Cons

The pay was not the best, and I think that greatly contributed to the high turnover which made the work environment quite stressful at times. Sometimes I think management just hired anyone looking for a job but who wasn't really dedicated to doing what was best for children with disabilities, and the difference between people who really cared and those who were just there was really apparent.
