Pros

Working with a tight-knit team to make advances in leaps and bounds. Collaborating across the varying business units to create a cohesive message. It's frefreshing to be a part of a company with an owner who cares about employees and their roles in the organization.

Cons

If someone isn't used to working more in office than remote most of the time, that could be a negative.

Poindexter companies produce the best trucks on te road today. Morgan Truck Body and Morgan Olson hold the market share in box trucks and sidestep vans in the US. Reading Truck is 2nd in market share. 5 of our other 6 businesses are very successful and profitable, all very recognizable brands in their respective disciplines. The company is debt free and growing at a record pace. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews. No one forces 5 star reviews....who says this without having proof? No one forces people to sit at their desk, that is a ridiculous claim. Hybrid work schedule, normal work hours, lunch or breakfast provided frequently, good benefits with the opportunity to pretty much choose your career path- that is, if you're any good. Poindexter is financially healthy with no debt. Plenty of cash for acquisitions and capital improvements- not one capital request has been turned down, even through Covid. We have added top leadership to our corporate office, many from progressive, successful Fortune companies.

Cons

As you read the negative reviews, you'll see turnover is high. Much of this is due to need to upgrade sub-par employees who could not keep up with a growing, demanding environment. I was happy to see many bitter people leave so we could upgrade skillsets and attitudes. And it is working...our office is a much better place with higher quality, motivated employees.
