Pros

Positive work atmosphere and collaborative functional groups. Helpful and amicable colleagues. Mobility is supported throughout the org. Innovative culture. Investment in training.

Cons

Would be desirable if more flexible working arrangements were available, I.e. Hot-dealing/working remotely on a consistent basis. Not very many cons as far as I'm concerned.

Pros

Pay is better than industry.

Cons

Company efficiency is horrible. Your immediate manager will compete with their counterpart to see how late they can make their underlings stay. Within 2 weeks of starting, my outlook calendar had 6-7PM meetings daily out to the next 4 months. The meetings were pointless and only served to send to the organizer's superior that they were "on top of things." The place is a mess and turnover was high. The result was everyone was new/bad at their jobs and combined with the disorganization, it made efficiency really low. They have 5 people doing a job that would be handled by one person in many banks. Upper management in New York often calls in to meetings and generally act like overgrown children to boss around underlings on pointless things.

Pros

Got to work with good people and learn from them. Training and fun activities are held at regular intervals.

Cons

Compensation is not good as per industry standard. Too much of negativity in office environment, attrition rates are too high.
