Pros

you wear many different hats and are "re-deployed" based upon the needs of the company. the higher ups are very determined to make you believe that you should be grateful they move you to a new role instead of laying you off.

Cons

take it or leave it attitude with corporate. you are a minion to fill a role and that role may change at any time. they push the "opportunity" to build your resume. don't expect to see a lot of negative press about Chase and layoffs, the system is in place to offer an employee a new opportunity instead of laying them off. that's great! however, imagine you have a job as a loan underwriter and now you are moving to credit card customer complaints. not quite the same and is it a job you would apply for?
