Pros

Wages for unskilled labour are good, but it comes at a cost to your family life.

Cons

They boast a family run business with similar values, however it's the complete opposite, if you value family time at all, you will not be put forward for promotions or new projects. I have been verbally assaulted at this company by high level managers for pushing for new projects after years of 60hour weeks to prove myself as a team player.

Pros

There is a nice little lake to walk around…

Cons

I wouldn’t recommend any accountant to work within the finance function here. You will be micromanaged and not trusted to do your job. Expected to do ridiculously long hours regardless of your own personal life. They tried to introduce flexible working but this failed and was still controlled very much by management. The pay is very low in comparison to similar roles in other industries. Overall the culture in the office is depressing and you will end up dreading going to work each day.

Pros

Fast paced, good exposure to a lot of different specialities.

Cons

Un-flexible holidays, poor pay, questionable company mentality.
