Pros

None that really spring to mind.

Cons

A 1970's culture. A Billionaire family pulling the strings. A desire to throw money at company consultants without accepting a true modernising culture at the top. Work location very inaccessible. No mobile phone signal on all networks.

Pros

Got a nice lake, ducks are friendly. People are typically good.

Cons

The shear arrogance! A company which values those who can wear a suit and know how to make a snazzy PowerPoint than anyone with any passion, technical ability or innovative Ideas. An upper management more concerned with touring customers and the press around the now tired, aging and frankly unimpressive factory, than actually getting the job done well and innovating. An us and them mentality, between the shop floor and office which breeds contempt from both sides. A frankly incredibly lax attitude towards safety, with the near miss quota missing the point by focusing on the trivial while real issues need addressing, like the air quality for example.

Pros

Money, the jobs are o.k, not bad environment.

Cons

The issue is you can say yes to all everything, do overtime yet still got rid of. Tiy will be used, lied to, exploited as they know there is a quque ready to sign up. Certain people are offered training, opportunities, they know which ones will go on a downturn. The managers know how to ensure you are no more than an asset to their bonus. I would say if you have any integrity, faurness or honesty you will struggle in this environment. The unions are pointless for agency and in the pocket of the company anyway. It’s a shame that a company built on strong traditions for the bottom workers has ended up at this place. My family worked 30 years ago here and it differently isnt the same ethos now. If you have any form of disability as an agency worker anything will be lip service and any time off will be used against you. I think people just expected to be treated as a human
