Supportive management and collaborative peers. Managers are approachable and helpful, and the team atmosphere is very positive Strong work‑life balance and flexible options. Remote-first setup, few Friday meetings, and generally manageable schedules

Cons

Legacy code and tight deadlines. The codebase can be disorganized and difficult to work with sometimes, with a priority on quick fixes over refactoring or quality improvements

I’ve been with J.D. Power for over 15 years, and I still genuinely love my job. That’s not something many people can say after such a long time, but it speaks volumes about the culture, the people, and the work we do. The team here is exceptional—smart, supportive, and deeply committed to delivering quality. Collaboration is second nature, and even when things get intense (which they often do), there’s a shared sense of purpose that keeps us grounded. I still look forward to sitting in front of my computer each morning, and that feeling of motivation hasn’t faded over the years. ✅ Pros: • Supportive and talented colleagues • Meaningful work with real impact • Leadership that listens and encourages growth • A culture that values collaboration and innovation

⚠️ Cons: • The pace can be intense, and some days feel overwhelming • Work-life balance can be tricky during peak periods • Internal processes sometimes lag behind the speed of change • Communication across departments could be more streamlined Despite the challenges, I’ve found the rewards far outweigh the stress.
