We are happy to hear that you consider J.D. Power a great place to work – and we agree - we have great people! Over the past two years, we’ve brought seven companies together that now makeup J.D. Power. The onset of the pandemic brought some disruption to our Focal cycle. Our annual Focal process is about to commence and with a full market-based merit for all of our global locations. - J.D. Pros

There are some really smart people at J.D. Power, management changes in the last 5 years have brought a much more progressive feeling to the company. It feels more like a tech company now than it did before.

Cons

Not a lot of exposure to other departments, so that makes it difficult to move to other jobs. Quite a few middle managers that aren't really trying to do think outside the box. Many younger people get frustrated and leave.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We appreciate your comments about a much more progressive feeling in the company. We’ve evolved from a traditional market research company to a global leader in data analytics and consumer intelligence. And, we couldn’t have done so without the really smart people that work at J.D. Power! In the past two years, we’ve brought 7 companies together, and during a global pandemic. Working from home has made it more challenging to get to know one another. We introduced Demo Days as a company –wide initiative to create a forum for employees to learn about the many product areas that now make up J.D. Power. We’d love to hear any additional ideas you have to create additional opportunities to learn about other teams in the company, and how to encourage employees to bring forward new ideas. Please contact HR, your manager or send an email to the VoE (Voice of the Employee) box. -J.D. Power
