Pros

I love not working weekends in service. They allow the advisors to choose to work together and split commission or to work alone. The other advisor and I work well together so we decided to split the whole commission. It’s nice to work together and not have to feel at completion for customers. The customers really benefit as well because we take care of each other. We want the customer to have the best experience and keep coming back. They allow you to choose this as well so you know if that person for the most part is going to work well with you and if they are good at being advisor before you get involved and my other friend started on the 10th and she worked the full month and at the end of the month they asked her okay would you guys like to split commission to work together. You have two days to decide. We decided to work together. I love that we were able to talk it out and decide. This also allowed her to see that we would work well together and then make decision. She didn’t have to decide right away. She also only 4 days and they even gave her a Christmas bonus. I worked four years at my other job and wouldn’t get one until year 5 and they gave her the same amount we would of gotten at year 5. They understand the fact we have lives outside of work and we have families. As long as you work hard and do your stuff they will help you in your outside life. For example, they have a technician whose kid has to go to the doctor in Raleigh every two weeks and they let him have off those time to take her no issues. They don’t treat him like he’s a hastle. One girl has to take her kids to childcare and they can only take them at 7:30 (she told them this before hiring) they allow her to come in late and treat her no differently. Once again this is because she works hard. As long as you work hard and pay back that respect and how they are willing to help with your outside life they will.

Cons

Each job has a lot more responsibility and work than other jobs in the same field.
