Pay was not good and the overall department was antiquated.
Pros
The team had really good hearts. The overall team moral was not very high when management was around.
Cons
The fear of accidentally taking a post-it note home and being accused of taking County property was really strange. I bought my own supplies because of how nickle and dimming it was. (Cheap). The pay was $25.00 per hour for a highly skilled position. the leadership was payed with huge bonuses but the staff was not sufficiently payed for their skill set. Pay was way below national average. The benefit package was not great either. They also very rarely higher upper level management from within. They hire leadership from outside. So if you hire on in a lower level position there is very little room for advancement. If yo interview with them ... Ask the Directors how they got their position and how they like the organization? They will tell you they came from somewhere else.
