      Pros

      The associates were helpful. The building is in a great location. There is opportunity for advancement if you make a commitment to the firm culture.

      Cons

      There is a disconnect between the partners and associates. I think there needs to be more of a mentoring program for young associates as they learn the law and develop their skills.

      Great clients, interesting and varied work, wonderful mentors who will really help you advance (if you're lucky enough to find one), good name recognition and prestige

      Cons

      Lack of cohesiveness, favoritism and backstabbing, letting personal issues cloud decision-making, weak office leadership allows the egomaniacs to run amok, management still talks the talk, but the atmosphere doesn't live up to the hype

      Pros

      The firm used to have a good reputation. It used to be known as a good employment law firm.

      Cons

      Jackson Lewis does not care about whether the lawyers who work there are happy. People are leaving all the time and they do not seem to care at all. They do nothing to change the culture. In fact, they keep making it worse.
