Pros
Most people are polite and seem genuinely nice. It's always busy, which makes the days go by fast and gives a certain sense of job security. The salary is good.
Cons
Operates like a bunch of small, separate firms. Technology is outdated. Managers are not trained. Departments are understaffed. Communications are old-fashioned (the occasional formal memo from the chairman). No training or on-boarding process. Unless you've worked there for a long time, you don't know who to contact if you have a question about accounting, human resources, etc. Benefits package is below average. Lacks leadership and vision. Things are done this way, "because we've always done it that way." Needs an overhaul and fresh perspectives.
