      Pros

      Friendly staff who are willing to help new hires and current staff as well

      Cons

      Poor management; nepotism; clicky environment; staff have no chance of moving up no matter what credentials, degrees, or certificates -- it's a place that suffocates you and doesn't acknowledge the hard work and commitment that staff put into their work. They treat staff like they are utterly disposable.

      Pros

      Staff is friendly. Time is flexible, they work around your schedule and are very family oriented. There are smart people who work here, but the smart ones don't have authority. Salary is okay, not competitive. Benefits are okay as well.

      Cons

      VERY cliquish and a place where nepotism is rampant. They don't even hide it. When starting, only training you get is from someone else who has a similar position as you, and that's IF they have the time. Management does not handle serious situations professionally. If you're not a partner, you're treated like sub-human by them. Even associates. So unless you come in as a partner, you won't get any respect from the attorneys. Very much an "old boys club." Also if you're staff, there is nowhere to go for progression; people have been in the same position for over 20+ years. If that's your thing, go for it, but if you want to grow, go somewhere else

      Pros

      Every attorney understands the importance of a work-life balance. Although a high quality of work is required, the firm leadership values family and personal health and wants everyone to succeed

      Cons

      There are not very many cons. The only one I can think of is it is hard to make partner.
