The ammonia odor, the carbon dust, other noxious odors and not being transparent on the nature of the chemical hazards have been a long-standing issues. Directors cast derogatory language when addressing operators and factory personnel. Employees who raised these two issues were subsequently fired as employees are 'employed at will' but at the same time Jacobi wants employees to be open about any work-related issues.
