Pros
I love the people. I have worked for many tech companies, and this is clearly the nicest bunch I've ever worked with. When I started, it seemed to be too good to be true. I really enjoy the perspective that the CEO brings - his heart is definitely in the right place. In general, people are quite competent and hardworking. And it feels like we are all working together as a team, rather than the competitive cooperation you see at other startups. Teams will often lend resources to other teams for high-priority projects, or pitch in to hit a tight deadline. And people have a very high level of empathy for each other, as well as for our customers and their pain points. I've worked for a lot of tech companies from tiny startups all the way to public companies, and this is probably my favorite place to work.
Cons
The expectations are super high with regards to growth. We have grown super quickly over the past few years, both in terms of headcount and revenue. And the expectations seem to be the same going forward despite the cooldown in the funding markets and a slowdown in hiring.
