Pros

Excellent company with family focus and Christian values. Love for their fellow employees and their customers. Jenkins helps people during some of their hardest times. The last company you'd ever have to work for with real career opportunities. You can start off as a tech and work your way into Project manager and continue climbing until you reach where you want to stay. Or, you can stay as a tech, depends on what you are looking for. Company puts money into a 401k whether you do or not. Jenkins is an esop. This means that every employee becomes an owner after about a year. You get more and more vested until you are 100% vested and your shares grow the longer you work here. Pms and up get a vehicle which is a pro, but you pay a fee for that vehicle and that's a con. (its worth it considering you don't have to pay for maintenance insurance and you can use it for personal use. ) Iphone and surface provided. No need for a personal phone unless you want to have two. I personally use one phone and one vehicle and they are both provided by Jenkins.

Cons

If you're new to restoration, you're starting out at the bottom. Demo, Cleaning, etc. Tech Positions are on call and managing family time takes planning between you and your supervisor to ensure you have coverage. PM positions can be high stress as you manage customers needs, contractor needs, tpa expectations, and our own high standards. Restoration and Large Loss Project Managers need to find and locate their own Contractors and those contractors must have appropriate insurance and backgrounds. (this is a good thing, but can be a source of frustration) Fee for vehicle for PMS
