Wish we weren't totally remote because I want to meet every single person on this amazing team!
Pros
Everyone is so supportive and helpful! Currently working on a project where we need the expertise of our service agents, and despite their team already working overtime (and breaking sales records every single day it seems!), they are so willing to answer all of my questions and have even offered to jump right in and help. I love that the company encourages shoutouts, both during team meetings and also with a Slack channel; it's super encouraging to always be hearing about team members doing great things for Jerry. It was a tough interview process that everyone had to go through to be here, but it definitely helped to contribute to building an amazing, hard-working, collaborative, and customer-focused culture. I'm was very stressed about choosing the right first job out of college, but I could not be happier that I chose Jerry as the place to start my career. I love that there is no ego, especially on the management side. I feel totally comfortable talking to any and all of them, and I don't feel as though I'm being treated any differently for being a new grad.
Cons
We're working on our benefits right now, so I wouldn't say that it is a total con! I know that management recognizes that this could potentially be an area of displeasure with many of the current staff, and a blocker to hiring more amazing talent to join our team, so benefits are actively being worked on. Another "not a total con" because I do enjoy working on multiple things and we are actively working on hiring talent (so many new people start each week!) but I do wish our team was a little bigger since there are so many things to be done! But I'm sure with new people comes new projects, and the wearing many many hats part of our culture won't be going away any time soon.
