Pros
I'm surrounded by high-performing intelligent coworkers. My team is completely remote, so there's the freedom to work when and how I choose, so long as I prove my work is done. The team is supportive and trusting. The new VP of Content is a powerhouse and incredibly nice. Within a week, I was given new opportunities and responsibilities. They reward hard workers.
Cons
It is fast-paced and the initial shock of starting with a start-up can be intimidating. There's little direction in terms of resources or career development, but I think that's inherent to a start-up and something they're actively working on according to their most recent employee satisfaction survey. I wouldn't say these are reasons to not work here! They just might not complement everyone's work styles; you have to ask for what you want.
