Pros

Flexible Hours, Easy once you get the hang of it. Mostly casual work environments aside from the tacky uniforms.

Cons

Just all around obnoxious customers most of the time, (flexible hours) late night, some stores are open 24 hours.

Pros

Most stores are union, and therefore have great benefits. The pay scale is mediocre for part time employees and low for a living wage, however comparable to similar opportunities elsewhere. Store was very flexible to meet my needs and what I could work. Overall a good experience

Cons

Customers can be irritating, but typical for retail employment. Union sometimes seems more of a disadvantage, speaking from a part time perspective.

The job always gave me opportunity to advance. The people that work under you tried very hard to please the customers. Salary was competitive.

Cons

Job became very stressful, no help from upper management. One minute you were a superstar; the next minute you felt like the dog under the table.
