Pros

Work life balance was good, pay also, and leadership treated employees well

Cons

It all changed, salary folks cut, or had pay reduced 20%. Leadership no longer treated employees well. Changes started with current CEO.

Pros

Work/life balance is great if you have the right manager. I rarely work overtime. 401k match is great. There's a clear career path if you're interested in being a manager. Working at John Deere looks great on a resume.

Cons

There's still very much this outdated, good ol boy culture at all the factories. Vacation and health insurance benefits are awful. There's not much room to grow if you want to stay in a technical role.
