      Good money, but it takes away your life!

      Pros

      If you want to work...... A LOT!!! then this is the place for you. Its pretty good pay and there is plenty of oportunity to make $50k+ for just being blue collar.

      Cons

      They will work you till you fall apart. They care nothing about you or your family. You are replaceable and can be replaced by tomorow. 6 or 7 days a week when its busy. 12 hour days that you are forced to work. Not to mention the health aspect of working around lead, and repetative motion.

      Pros

      The pay was terrific, the harder you worked the more you got paid. The poeple were pleasant to work with.

      Cons

      Extremly dangerous work environment. Burned by hot lead pots and left with scars every day. Fork lift trucks flying around corners sideways.

      Cons

      locally: high employee turnover leading to a shortage of employees available to deliver product/service unhappy customers and employees poor communication unrealistic expectations micro-management company-wide: too many meetings, conference calls, processes and forms keeping you from getting your job done compensation outdated/homegrown productivity tools such as email and enterprise systems - very clunky and inefficient
