There are a ton of benefits to coming to work at Johnsonville; the Profit sharing, health insurance the best in the county (health, vision and dental), and wages. Plus most of the people here really care about you and your well being.

Cons

The only con that I can really say is that it is like most manufacturing plants, and some people bring the drama and some don't.

The culture here at Johnsonville is fantastic. I oversee a department of almost 50 members and I am empowered, and encouraged, to make changes the help my team and the company get better every day.

Cons

The only thing I can say for a con would be that we tend to change our minds a lot. the sausage business is ever evolving and sometimes something will come up the changes our direction mid stream in a project.

Cons

Management seems to be threatened by smart people. Tends to shuck workload off on other people. No personal accountability for decisions that go bad. They always ask for ideas and then implement none of them unless it’s simple and cheap. Member services is less than desirable. It’s very hard to get anything done through that office. Hires a lot of people that really can’t do the job hired to do. High turnover rate makes it hard to get anybody that’s good at the job.
