The word "empowered" is not thrown around because people are generally too busy using their empowerment. Generous compensation when bonuses are applied. Company really supports personal and professional growth.

Cons

Not all areas of the company are equally empowered. Sometimes not enough time to get job done and take advantage of benefits and learning options. Poor work/life balance in some areas - a never ending stream of projects, initiatives, etc.

The location of the headquarters and plants makes is remote. Hard to attract talent and younger professionals that have families when the surrounding towns are small and remote.
