Pros

The workplace has prestige and recognition. It is always great on your resume. Also, you get a great sense lot of what BIG LAW practice is.

Cons

As always mentioned, the hours are a bit hectic during certain periods of time. However, they have great ways to assist those in overtime.

Pros

Jones Day is an international law firm, and will boost your resume. If you are an attorney, this is where your career will embark. If you aren't an attorney, this is still a good choice for short term stay if you are interested in being involved in international cases, it will definately widen your perspective.

Cons

it is a cold environment, people don't really associate with each other. mabye all lawfirms are like this. People are quite snobby, I didn't like the level of sophistication in working with these people. Even secretaries tend to be a bit snobby when they are in charge of a partner or someone "big". If you don't try to plan your future, no one in the lawfirm cares and you could end up wasting ur time.
