Pros

I wish I was able to say something positive about this company. I got a discount and that was nice, other than that there is NOTHING

Cons

I worked closed to 120 hours every two weeks for about a $600 paycheck. I was constantly stressed out and also forced to work 12 hour days about 3 times a week. The stock room was insane and half my job consisted of trying to reorganize the room 2 times a week just to fit more shoes. Our store was falling apart and of course, selling socks was more important than the dingy carpet. Go figure. Oh and I was also promised my own store along with the other assistant manager-- lets see if that ever happened. Take your guess. I wasted 3 years of my life at this joke of a job. Good for starving hippies maybe.

Pros

The overall job was fun. Selling cool shoes to local people. Getting them hip on new fashion trends and selling socks, multiples and accessories was easy! As long as you werent afraid to be told no a couple of times and just let the 'no' wash away with every customer, it's as easy as pie!

Cons

I was told when I started the company that I would be looking at anywhere between 40-50 hours a week with the base salary of a tad shy of 200. There would be potential upwards movement with the company and I would be placed on the fast track with the company to have my own store. Obviously this never happened, as the Manager of my store was intimidated by me, apparently this person had never been in management before this and would constantly correct things you would say to a customer right in front of them, complain about things in front of customers and constantly argue with you to the point of where you wanted to walk out.

Pros

i enjoyed helping customers and selling shoes, the employee discount was very nice at manager level, it low for part time. you can work as much over time as you would like. Nice friendly environment to work.

Cons

Store managers can be lazy. they will make you do all the work and sit in the backroom. goals are impossible to hit most days. its impossible to get a day off. they over work you and only give one day off a week. you have to work 8hour shift 4 days a week and one 12 hour shift. you don't get lunch breaks because you can leave the store. she even if you do take one and a customer comes in you have to stop eating and help them. They had me come in and work and told me they couldnt give anymore hours out so i realized i didnt get paid. they will change the schedules around last minute.
