Pros

Great flexibility with assignments, friendly families, and supportive coordinators who respond quickly. The training is helpful, and communication is clear and professional.

Cons

The app is new so there’s sometimes glitches with the app, but issues usually get resolved fast with good communication from the personnel.

Pros

Working with Jovie DMV, as a full-time nanny, has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to support many wonderful families, each with their own unique needs, cultures, and lifestyles. I’ve loved every moment - from caring for infants and children of all ages to spending time with families who have pet pets, which always makes the day even more special. The families, staff and admin team at Jovie are consistently respectful, flexible, and understanding. Their support has allowed me to grow not only as a caregiver, but also as a person. Through my time with Jovie, I’ve learned so much about my strength identified areas where I can continue to improve and gained valuable professional insight. I am truly grateful for the opportunities Jovie has given me and I’m excited to see what the 2026 year brings. I’m looking forward to continuing to assist learn and make a positive impact with every family I meet.

Cons

I don’t have any true cons when it comes to working with Jovie. In the beginning, the biggest challenge for me was transitioning from a daycare setting - where I spent most of my career - to traveling to different homes to provide individualized care. It was a new environment and a different style of childcare so it took some adjusting. However, that adjustment ended up being one of the best changes I’ve ever made. Working in homes allows for deeper one-on-one connections, calmer days and far less stress than the daycare environment I was used to. What started as a challenge quickly became something I genuinely love and now I can confidently say I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.
