Pros

I've worked for College Nannies and Tutors for almost half a year, and there hasn't been a day that I haven't wanted to go to my job. I believe that it is very important to have a job that you love to go to everyday, and that's what I've found with College Nannies and Tutors. Being able to see our tutors make a difference in their students lives is a great joy. I love being able to interact with families and their kiddos on a daily basis. It's very exciting to find out from families that their kiddo is doing better in school or that they just passed a test with flying colors. The owners and management stick to the CNT Core Values and really strive for all of their employees, rather it be Tutors or Nannies, to follow them as well. With my center, and the others we truly try to be a family and respect everyone's time and abilities. It's great to be able see tutors make a difference in their students lives!

Cons

I don't have any cons of working with College Nannies and Tutors. There's been a few slight bumps, but after training and corrections it really comes down to the Owners and General Mangers being supportive of their employees and guiding them.

Pros

When I first started, my manager was very helpful and contacted me whenever there were possible students. I worked with a few students periodically and it was some nice side money. There isn't much training, but the manager assured me that they could get any resources/materials I may need. Their system is easy to use to enter the hours you worked.

Cons

A few months ago, my manager left and now I'm not sure if I'm even still employed with the company. I haven't received any calls about possible students and there hasn't been any communication. When I did have students, sometimes it is difficult to get to their homes if they aren't metro accessible and they don't reimburse you for travel time or cost. Compared to other tutoring companies in the area, the pay is pretty low, but I accepted because I really liked the atmosphere. Will probably be moving on very soon.
