Pros

Good Compensation Company provided vehicle in most roles Company growth worldwide The products sold are quality

Cons

Limited growth opportunities No set promotion structure, subjective in nature Branch offices are not adequately staffed Some branch and district managers lack in professionalism, leadership skills, and have difficulty managing people. Although, most have success in sales, there is a conclusion in this company that they can manage, this is not always the case (No Promotion Structure) Customer environment can be tough at times and the company rarely backs the policies they set forth. Corporate paperwork and policy organization is shaky and the document and process trail is sometimes hard to follow. Most branch offices are outdated in technology, decor, and functionality.

Pros

Friendly people, decent benefits for employees, lot's of opportunities to learn and grow as an employee. Good market for the company to expand and make money. Company generally looks after the well-being of the employees.

Cons

Management doesn't always understand how to work well in Southeast Asia. Not the same as working in Europe. Need to have more training on culture for everyone so the company can perform better.

Pros

You will receive skills that will make you a better salesperson. Sales skills such as presenting proposals and overcoming objections are taught. Most employees are very friendly and fun to work with.

Cons

I work at KONE in the service department at a branch office. Very few people are given an opportunity for advancement within a branch office. The employee turnover rate is high and most sales people leave before they have reached three years of employment. In my opinion sales people are given unrealistically high sales goals and most sales people leave as a result. I believe that the level of service Kone provides is adversely effected by overloading office and field employees.
