      Pros

      The pay seems to be better than most places to work. Once a year KONE has big meeting to network around the country. KONE is a place if you are liked by Management that you can be on the fast tract moving up the company ladder. The commisson also seems to be in line with other companies you can work for.

      Cons

      There is a unrealistic expection on the amount of hours required to work. If you are not in the club you are not going to move up in the company. If you don't move up in the company you will get fired or forced out.

      Pros

      Varied & challenging projects. As we grow & adapt the business there are several change programs ongoing to align our internal goals. These changes in the main are driven by many smaller projects which provide exposure to external suppliers, technologies & different parts of the business. Senior management accessibility. There is a door open policy, although I hear Matti prefers not to be interrupted during lunch in the canteen ;-). Got a problem - solve it, but need to bounce some ideas around with one of our board members &, unless you're a complete dork, the door will remain open. It's possible to earn positions of significant responsibility & drive through quite large change programs. It's a go for it environment.

      Cons

      There's too much administration. Cross functional responsibilities rest often with project managers. It's necessary to spend time selling your achievements internally to win recognition.
