Along with that mentorship helps you to grow further after this training plans. For the new employee the seniors in the teams plays a supportive role which help a fresher to get the thing and work comfortably

Cons

Not major cons but i think that some project or domain specific tools should be provided during training so that it will be the better understanding to use it during projects
