Work hours tend to be flexible. Positive work environment. Co-workers are supportive and work as a team.

Cons

Case loads are overwhelming. The amount and qualify of work asked of workers is impossible to achieve within a 40 hour week.

We have many behavioral health technicians who love what they do because they get to make a real difference in the lives of children and teens needing compassionate psychiatric treatment. This is evidenced by how long they stay with the organization and how committed they are each day. We wish we had had an opportunity to learn more about the particular situations you experienced and resolve any issues that made you feel as though you were not treated with respect.

- It is amazing to watch the kids grow and change during their stay at KVC (some are there long-term) - Good pay for a job that doesn't require a college-level education

Cons

- Co-workers are not adequately trained in providing mental health services or supervision - Overall a very harsh environment (lots of aggression and trauma)
