This consulting firm, newly branched in Phoenix, had me sit on the unpaid bench (in my opinion) following my interview with for a month and a half before having me start, yanked me off my first project mid-way through after what I thought was very positive feedback, "sold" me to a bloated, high maintenance client as what was apparently (to the client) a temp-to-perm candidate whereas any notion of permanent was without my permission, then, after I had told the client I wasn't interested in changing employers again, fired me on the same day that contract was halted after I encouraged them to hire more people through this firm. The actual circumstances regarding everything here were never clear but this experience was my honest perception/opinion. I will never work for any consulting firm again.

They are a Contract based company so any expenses they have go directly to the bottom line. The result is them being a little cheap on a lot of things. They like to say they are super supportive of education and helping their employees succeed but they nickle and dime everything. They have really old computers that they give out. (Some are new now) but it always feels like they are trying to keep costs down. Which is good to an extent, but as an employee makes you feel like you are just a way to generate money. Even if that is true, nobody likes feeling like that. I don't plan on staying here super long, however I see it as a good stepping stone to a better company.
