Pros

Great 401K package, and excellent benefits. Technically challenging opportunities with bleeding edge technologies being used for innovation in the organization. Opportunities to grow with the company and most important... People care about you and your work. For example, around 175 employees were given a 40-hour training along with a one-month subscription of linuxacademy or pluralsight during the current government shutdown of 2018. An extension of additional 40 hour advance paid leave / PTO to be help reduce the impact of the shutdown to employees.

Cons

Innovation may sometimes become a hindrance to deliveries of tightly scheduled projects.

Beware of their accounting practices

They settled my account with the last pay check, at the due time

Cons

As a policy, the medical insurance is covered through the end of the month in which your last working day falls, however, they tried to recover my insurance premiums through the end of the month. Since my last day was 8th of the month, they deducted about 233% of my regular deductions. I had to go back and forth explain repeatedly that I had not authorized the deduction for a future pay period. Until they relented. Advice to all future ex-Karsunites, you may need to carefully review your last pay check. Technically, it is illegal for them to make deductions from future pay periods.

- Feels like management is embracing a new vibe coder mentality - Expectation of use of new tech in order to be 'more productive' without training (Speed over quality) - No room to improve workflow due to greater performance expectations - Cancelled bonuses and raises despite praise for performance - Big lay offs (could be a bunch of reasons)
