Worst employer, horrible morale, emotional abusive from upper management

close to home, no other advantage Gary Herbst was not yet the CEO when I was there, but he was about the only upper management employee I met that ever seemed to truly care about people and about doing the right thing. I hope he can turn things around for our community.
Cons
Management is emotionally abusive to staff, always saying we were over budget when our volume was double that of Fresno hospitals I also worked at, and our staff was half as large. Horrible morale, nurses are mean and demeaning to anyone else, despite the fact that my own position required a bachelors degree. In my 5 years there, I saw multiple departments have 80-100% turnover rates because staff couldn't handle the stress. People choosing to commute than stay locally if it meant working at Kaweah Delta. Then they rehire from out of the area, give it a few more years and all the new staff sees through the veil and quits too.
