      Pros

      pay, PTO time, pd hotel for overnight or get pd to sleep in truck

      Cons

      no assigned vehicles, no assigned equipment, vacation is assigned by seniority and same people get holiday season off every year, no 401k match. you get paid to sleep in a sleeper but if you have a day cab and are forced ( no option to sleep in truck)to sleep in a hotel for reset. you should get the sleeper pay but you dont.

      The company is very active when it comes to volunteerism/philanthropy.

      Cons

      Poor financial performance has led to frequent re-orgs and general instability. It is very common for new-hires in the corporate office to be re-assigned to new managers/departments with no notice multiple times per year. Currently the company is in a scramble to find cost savings to improve margin, and there is general uneasiness about the financial future. ESOP contributions are declining, and it does not look like a rebound is coming in the near future.

      Pros

      Really nice people, great company atmosphere/mission statements; company donates 10% of net proceeds to charity, encourages employees to do community service; very flexible; management sticks up for you to inappropriate/rude store managers; management offers a lot of encouragement, accepts feedback, cares about you. Enjoy meeting new people and fostering good relationships with store personnel and my own team. Small monthly phone allowance ($15.)

      Cons

      Boring, repetitive, pretty mindless work; poor staffing prior to my employment leads to my job being more difficult than it ought to be as I make up for previous employees' carelessness, etc. Low pay, though better than expected for pretty menial work. No real PT benefits, even if working "almost" FT.
