Pros

-Smart colleagues to learn from. -Good salary and package.

Cons

-Projects in the region tend to be relatively longer. Not uncommon for people to be on the same project for more than a year. -The environment (like many other firms) does get political - so you need to be on the right side of people to move ahead...else it is very difficult to advance. -Work-life balance is poor -The firm is active in 3 sectors (Energy, Public Sector, Telco) - so if your interests are outside these sectors, would recommend that you stay away. -Partners often make up their mind about someone based on first impressions.

Pros

The people who work here are reasonable, hardworking, and fun. It's a great place to learn a lot but also be social. The firm seems to be growing and doing well but is still small enough to get to know everyone and feel involved. The senior leadership is great and very passionate about the firm.

Cons

Like most consulting firms, the staffing process is pretty informal and although there are a large amount of different clients in various industries, many projects are sourcing or procurement. Travel is also relatively common although because of that, there's a great Friday culture in the office.

Pros

Quality of colleagues - smart and down to earth, brand recognition is slowly but steadily improving, compensation and benefits very much comparable to MBB, no formal "up or out" policy which removes a lot of internal competition among junior consultants

Cons

While we compete head-to-head with MBB, the brand prestige is still not there. Performance review and promotions process not transparent enough to make people comfortable about the decisions made.
