Pros

Great product! The employees are hard working.

Cons

No real management structure! CEO and CTO try to control every aspect of the company. This company is experiencing growth and this type of management structure just does not work. CEO's step son has a management title and runs tech support with no real management experience that causes issues. Benefits are over stated, they are basic and costly.

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to make our company as great as possible. We've had significant growth over the past couple of years and see no end to that in sight. With such growth comes a few growing pains, but we're navigating the new challenges and finding success on the other side. Our CEO and CTO are very hands on, and really believe in digging in and matching the hard work ethic of our employees in the trenches. As mentioned previously, we're also a company that values the idea of family. We like to treat all of our employees like family as we see each other for 8 hours a day. We've gotten some of our best talent by giving a chance to employees who did not have formal training. We truly believe that anyone who is smart and works hard can succeed in any position. We can back this statement up by hiring many employees who do not have formal educational backgrounds, but have proven themselves as invaluable coders, engineers, designers, etc. As for our benefits, we are happy to offer a platinum tier BCBS health and dental packages (PPO, HSA, HMO) as well as a yearly employer contribution for the HSA up to $1500. All of our insurance premiums are subsidized by the company at an average rate of 70%, meaning that a single employee on our HMO plan only pays $41/paycheck (with 0 deductible) or $79/paycheck for PPO. This premium structure is actually above average for companies our size in our current market (as described by an independent brokerage.) In our current cohort, we are proud to offer the best and most comprehensive plans that are offered by BCBS with the lowest deductibles.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we appreciate the positive comments about our product and colleagues, we strongly disagree with the claims regarding leadership, compensation, and turnover. Keeper Security operates in a high-performance cybersecurity environment with clear expectations and accountability across all roles. Our base pay is benchmarked to industry standards, and our commission plans are market-leading, uncapped, and designed to reward sustained performance. Commission payouts are governed by clearly defined plans, and Keeper does not withhold or deny earned commissions. All payments are reviewed and processed in accordance with established compensation policies. Keeper’s turnover is in line with comparable companies in our industry and growth stage. Employment decisions are not based on isolated results; all separations are performance-related and reflect broader, documented expectations over time. While this environment may not be the right fit for everyone, many employees thrive, earn competitively, and build long-term careers at Keeper.

Pros

Decent pay, remote opportunities, and talented team (other than the C-Level and HR).

Cons

+ Every decision (and I mean every decision...down to individual marketing email design) is run through the CEO. I've never seen this level of micro-management even from much smaller companies. + General atmosphere of fear among the employees. + Lack of training and documentation on internal systems and teams from 10+ years of operations. + Constant changes to strategy, all based on whims of the CEO that are not backed by industry best practices or data. + Lack of data transparency and access.
