Pros

Remote work, but then you realize that conditions for employees are not acceptable. There are some teammates who are ok, but they don’t stand long here. The core problem is leadership. Management and CEO create a culture of fear, instability and disrespect which undermines the entire organization. CEO is the threat to this company.

Cons

The product and its processes are fundamentally broken. Proper operational structure does not exist and the company is shrinking as a result. I would never deploy this solution to any environment, it is not trustworthy. Outside of DevOps, all operational processes are reorganized as employees cycle in and out within months, either leaving voluntarily or being laid off. The company is extremely cheap: poor compensation, the worst medical insurance I’be seen and 401k which does not include core funds. When you learn about company, it becomes clear how CEO and CTO managed to run it - regardless of the damage to employees. They bring culture of burnout and pressure. No loyalty or professional development.

Keeper is very proud of our leadership, product, and employee experience and strongly disagrees with your characterization. Keeper continues to invest heavily in product innovation, security, and operational rigor and we are trusted by thousands of organizations globally. Our leadership team is focused on building a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. We also want to address several inaccuracies. Our benefits package includes platinum-rated health insurance plans with deductibles that are significantly below market averages, as well as a 401(k) program offering a broad selection of core funds that are performing at or above industry benchmarks. We regularly review compensation and benefits to remain competitive and support our employees’ well-being. As with any growing organization, change and high expectations are part of the environment, but we are committed to providing structure, development opportunities and support for our teams.

Pros

Remote job makes up for the cons.

Cons

Horrible benefits, lack of job security, lack of appreciation, people getting fired left and right without grace or reasoning…could go on and on.

We respectfully disagree with the characterization of our culture, leadership, and benefits. Keeper Security operates with clear expectations and accountability, which are essential in a fast-growing cybersecurity environment. Most employment separations are performance-related and follow documented processes; they are not arbitrary, nor are they handled without communication or consideration. We also want to clarify that our benefits package benchmarks above comparable companies of our size, and we offer an industry-leading bonus structure designed to reward meaningful contributions and sustained performance. While a high-performance culture is not the right fit for everyone, many employees value the flexibility of remote work, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow in a results-driven organization.

Pros

- Very few meetings - Employees seem to be bought in to the vision - Design lead is a very talented and enthusiastic, even though he's obviously hamstrung by mgmt

Cons

- Every design (no matter how small) must be approved by the CEO. - The design approval process is utter madness. Everyone has to have their ideas mocked up and the only person whose opinion really matters is Darren's. - New ideas are rarely welcome unless they are from marketing or upper mgmt - The design files are an absolute mess. There is so much friction and frustration. I lost so many hours trying to deal with this issue. - Product design is always secondary to whatever the marketing dept requests. - Design team weren't really curious to learn about me as a person.
