A lot of hands on experience and a lot of responsibility.

Cons

expect 7am-5pm work days (at least, usually more) on job sites, then around 0.5-1hr of work once you get home each day. In addition, you will work Saturdays when out of town (which is most of the time in my experience). you better love this job, because you'll have no life.
