Pros

I had some great coworkers, and we supported each other. I also had some great employees who were wonderful to work with.

Cons

Our manager was terrible. He would take every opportunity to insert his rude and sexist opinion. He did not understand at all what it was like to do our jobs and did not appreciate what we did for the company. Also, recognition was terrible in the company overall. Literally, if you did a good job, you would be nominated to receive a "U Rock Award," which was just a little verbal recognition on a company call, a paper certificate, and a pebble with the letter "U" painted on it. Terrible. No incentive to do well at all. Plus if you stood out too much and tried to go above and beyond for the company, management would hammer you down to stay within your job description. Also, it's very hard to advance anywhere in this company. You have to wait for someone to retire or leave the company, since there is very little growth. Salary is not enough given the duties involved. Bonuses are non existent. Do not expect a high compensation. For most of my time there, I sat in a one person branch. There was no one else besides me working in the office. There were times when I did not feel safe since the office was in a dangerous city. The culture was also not very family friendly at all.

Pros

The convenience of not having to drive back and forth or spend money to go to work

Cons

This job is the worst for anyone looking to build a family and is not family friendly the day you give birth this company think they deserve a call from you to call in when you have already left prior notice also during this very important and busy time of your life you have to call in every single day that you are out which is only 14 days however this is counting the first day you go in labor so imagine being in labor for 2 days and then being in the hospital for days or longer this allows you 10 days to heal physically mentally and emotionally to go back to a full time job with a new born baby clearly a man thought of this policy my child is three weeks I’ve been back to work before he was even theee weeks which means staying up all night with my baby and working literally all day from 1-10pm or 2-11pm this is the most beautiful time of my life and this job has taken Away from it with their inconsiderate policy

Pros

Lax dress code, helpful employees

Cons

OMG, where do I start! They dont really set you up for success here. They want you to do 100 phone calls (dials) a day to candidates but they make it impossible to do that with all the inefficiencies in the process. First of all, there are way too many meetings and webinars. Then they want you to send emails after every call, print out resumes for everybody youre gonna call, toggle between multiple systems to make a bunch of notes, do employment verification for every candidate, and check against your data to eliminate redundancies. Then they wanna sit in front of you while you call people and thats extremely irritating. Im a professional recruiter so I know how to talk to candidates. They put too much emphasis on "selling" the position to candidates. Sorry, but money talks and BS walks and you will attract good people if the dollars are right! Everything is numbers, numbers, numbers with these people. They focus way more on quantity than quality so I dont feel I'll be successful here. And...I know my teammates hate me for holding up the meetings and asking a lot of questions but I dont care.
