Nice people and office space. 9 to 5

Cons

You have to be responsible for staying up to date with your skills. Little opportunity to advance or improve your skills. Leadership team is not particularly in sync with each other and product development and marketing suffers

Pros

Freshly designed new offices in desirable, accessible location in the Bay Area that offers fresh fruit to employees for free! A workplace that encourages stepping up and taking responsibility for the outcome at all levels and across functions. A real-world, pragmatic business with a long history of profitability that offers much career learning opportunities. Executive leadership appears aligned on strategy and the positive results are now being realized through the collective, global teams.

Cons

Better visibility to future product innovation would help to understand and anticipate how this company's long history of success will be sustained. Enhanced work tools and systems integrated with the parent company would improve productivity.

Pros

Legacy brand name from security products; interesting product portfolio on the surface

Cons

Kensington sells "me too" products sourced from Asia and faces too much competition to come close to achieving the unrealistic sales goals that are handed down from the management team. The company is held to sales goals that are pulled from thin air, with no strategy outside of stuffing their Distributors full of product and applying pressure on the team to move the product through. Sales are down across the board and that will continue for the foreseeable future.
